Low GPU and CPU utilization, BF2042 running in 2FPS

Very low CPU and GPU utilization on bf 2042.

So my pc has a 6900xt and a 3700x, but for some reason my BF2042 runs at a max of 2 FPS. This happens both in the menu's and in-game. My AMD overlay shows the following:

- GPU UTIL: 3%

- GPU PWR: 41 W

- GPU TEMP: 51 degrees

- VRAM UTIL: 4537MB

- CPU UTIL: 18%

I have already tried the following:

- Clean install last AMD drivers (optional)

- Clean install last AMD drivers (recommended)

- Re-install bf2042

- Mess around in-game settings with fullscreen/borderless etc.

- Dx12 enabled in hidden settings, disabled after it didn't work

- Remove config files

- Clean boot windows (turn off all unnecessary tasks/ processes)

- Turn off all overlays

Need help please!

    Had the same problem, and fixed it by unplugging my arcade stick. It uses a standard Microsoft driver

    @Ypelaarcould you change your desktop resolution to a lower resolution and set Hz higher for it (nvidia controlpanel / resolution ?
    Also disconnect your Revolution Unlimited Pro Controller (hub or what ever is plugged in to use this controller)! <-- just to test , known issues with different brands of controllers.

    ps some system drivers need an update also !

    Which system drivers need an update? When I look for updates it says completely up to date. Thats strange. Furthermore, what resolution and Hz should I change it to?

    its a different language , but it LOOKS the same if ya open nvidia controlpanel.

    Check the Youtube movie how to install , download and update ALL drivers.

    Open the web browser and enter url: https:\\www.drivereasy.com
    Click at Driver Update Tool in the upper bar and select Download Free Version.
    Click at the green button with the text DOWNLOAD DRIVER EASY NOW.
    When tool is downloaded select the file and run.
    Install Driver Easy Tool.

    Some drivers updates need to reboot your system, reboot system when needed,
    continue using Driver Easy untill 'ALL' drivers are updated.
    This free version allows only 1 download and 1 update at once.

    I have an AMD GPU tho, does that work with nvidia control panel?

    @Rokebo73 I somehow fixed it before. Now a couple months laters, sold my PC and build a new one from the ground up (all new parts) and I have the EXACT same problem...

    Did ya already install the latest system drivers and also gpu driver ?
    made sure bios is update ?
