@SpiritedmushroomDoes it only happen with Portal-mode items [like Rush XL] or the two mainstream choices like CQ and BT?
I imagine this is a bug that prevents new players from getting into an existing game/queue and only funnelled to a new one, rinse and repeat.
It happens on modified Breakthrough versions, like Infantry Breakthrough and Breakthrough Chaos, but also Control and the Rush XL I mentioned.
"Actual" portal modes (like the weekly "community spotlight") are never affected by this, not even the Squid Games Rush XL type of mode.
Don't know about Conquest because I don't really play that mode. But if I had to speculate I'd say it's likely that mode's "modified versions" act the same way.
Sounds like a bug, have you put this in the bug forums?
At least once over the years. Maybe twice. You reckon I should do it again? So far nobody has obviously cared enough.
