Mouse key bind automatically setting

I am trying to do mouse key binds, however when I try, it keeps automatically putting my key bind to MOUSE 5. I have tried two different mouses and have even tried to key bind a different mouse butt...

Go to C drive, Users, <user name>, documents, battlefield 2042 and delete everything in there.

Did you close out game and do it?

if that didn’t work, try uninstalling, delete everything in battlefield folder, delete beta folder if you had that, restart cpu and reinstall
It should do the trick, I tried everything yesterday and this is the only solution that fixed jt
