Muffled sound on bluetooth headset

Hi all, I just got a new xbox wireless headset. Playing on PC. 

When I start 2042, the sound starts being really poor quality. It comes through all muffled, like it's underwater, or far away, or I'm very drunk. 

I have seen others have this issue, and there is a workaround to disable bluetooth telephony. However I just bought this game to play with friends, and that means talking over a headset. 

Is there any fix? Anything I can do? 


Windows 11 - latest updates applied.

    I had this at one point. I had to disable (or uninstall - can't remember) all sound devices I was not using in Windows.

    @Ace Face would be handy if ya give some specs from this headset.
    And remember , wireless headset is lower quality sound then a wired connection, especially bluetooh is lower quality.
    Some time ya can improve quality by an equalizer or headset app/tool/software !
