Hi man, thanks for replying!
My motherboard version is rev 1.0. Regarding removing a RAM module, I'll be testing it throughout the day. However, I've already played with this amount of RAM using my previous specs and even with the same motherboard
What I can tell you is that I installed BF1 to check if there was a similar issue with other games, and I was surprised to see that my CPU usage was around 50-60%, while my GPU was between 40-50%. Meanwhile, when playing BF2042, my CPU usage is around 70-90%, and my GPU is between 90-99%. I want to believe this is an optimization and graphics settings issue that is eventually pushing my GPU to its limit
I posted my issue on a Steam forum, and someone commented that they're experiencing the same problems with Cyberpunk, even with a 4090
As I mentioned, I'll try removing a RAM module today and check if both the CPU and GPU are being pushed to the max when playing. Either way, thanks a lot for replying and trying to helping me with this issue!
You're welcome. The memory controller is located inside the CPU not the motherboard. R9 5900XT has different memory support than R5 3600 even though the same motherboard is being used. That's why there's different QVL memory compatibility lists on Gigabyte's website depending on which CPU is installed on the motherboard.
