I'd recommend reporting this exploit via EA Help so the details can be passed to the right team.
I believe that the one you're referring to was patched, but it doesn't hurt to report it in case I'm thinking of an older one.
This is a method to obtain the Prototype without using the elevator crouch glitch.
The glitch was confirmed on September 24.
I just submitted it to EA Help.
