No Cross Progression Transferred when I linked my PSN to my EA to play on Steam

Got the game on steam, linked my PSN to my EA so that all my progress would transfer but when I load the game it  gives my a fresh account with nothing on it. I have tried resetting the links, reinstalling the game and nothing works. Anyway to get my progress transferred over?
