NTW-50 no longer viable, not keeping what it promises, please restore.

I agree, the NTW-50 is not usable anymore, VERY SAD... and for a 50cal it is completely nerfed way too much, how it was 1st calibrated was in my opinion perfect. Please don't fix what isn’t broke there are a lot more bugs that needs your attention to fix. You need to revert to what the NTW-50 used to be. The slow Rate of Fire on this weapon is already a huge downside to this weapon but it’s realistic and now its effectiveness has been downgraded, this is nonsensical.

@TrasteThI greatly disagree. The NTW-50 needs to be balanced in accordance with the possibility that entire squads are running it. If 4 people fire the NTW-50 at a tank, it will die at the same rate it would have died at before the nerf. A single person should not be able to do that much damage.

I will say though, that it should more damage if the projectile hits the engine.

Tank drivers are already in a precarious spot with all the possible ways to kill them. The only viable way of survival is to camp with vehicles and wait for infantry to push the line, so either way, you won't get that engine shot. From Drone C5's through to Sundance C5's, it's a nightmare.

@iCracken_ZAI'm sorry but your argument is baseless. If you using a NTW against an Assault Rifle, LMG or an SMG in close quarters the chances are higher than you lose that engagement because that's just how it works. Now if you were sniping at them from over a 100meters away, well now, the tables have turned and they will lose that engagement, even if you miss that one shot. This scenario does not apply to tanks and vehicles in general due to the very nature of weapons used against tanks and other veichles. So many weapons have lock on capabilities through SOFLAM's and other means. Nearly all vehicles can have an anti-vehicle measure, from TOW missiles to mines. Literally everything in this game, can destroy vehicles and now you're telling me that a sniper rifle that used to deal as much damage as a Recoilless needs to be buffed again. Sorry but if you want to deal that much damage, you're better off using Sundance and C5.

You also completely ignored my point that an entire squads can run the NTW and reduce the time needed to kill a tank considerably. You need to factor in balance, which you are clearly ignoring, hence why the nerf was necessary.

@S3SSioN_SoLThe biggest problem with 4 ppl ntw-50 a tank, it's that only 1 person gets creds for the kill and destruction of the vehicle. So, makes no sense for ppl to hunt tanks down, when the reward of xp is extreamly limited. Also for the kill count on the Tiers for the weapon. 4 ppl needs 1200 kills for Tier 5, so together, they have to hunt 5000 kills, AND be alligned with who gets the kill shot, while avoiding to die from the instant retaliation from the vehicle, which 1-shot the player firing upon them.

Also, a bullet of that size, would rip the limbs of their body by a bare grace, even a close miss, would send them hurling down.

And the NTW-50 IS the perfect weapon do deal with those helis that camps outside of lock-range, and tanks so far out the map, no infantry can get near them to kill them.

The NTW-50 was the ONLY weapon to stop the tank and heli killing carnage from more then a safe distance. Where those vehicles, became GODS! Especially if good piloted, then they become TITANS!

Snipers have it hard enough, with the 5 million lumen spotlight, attached to the scopes. I do get the sun glare, but when there coulden't be one, you scope and poof it's there. Even in the deepest, darkest corner of the world, there is a glare, sorry, I mean, spotlight, if you scope.

Snipers, more then just beeing assassins at long range, gives the cover and assistance to the infantry that pushes, to keep them safer.

And what you mention about, 100 yards, the tides of engagement turns? For what? They with carbines and smg shoots you down so fast at that range. Hell, ppl HS me at 300-500 yards like nothing, if I don't get that first hit.

What I feel from you, are any excuse to make the NTW-50 joke relic, that it's been turned into, stay where it has been placed. There WAS a good balance to deal with the NTW-50 snipers.

It's like saying, "oh but they have medics who can revive them if I kill the NTW-50 user, it must be nerfed so I can stay alive in tank and be a GOD!" Makes no sense for anyone to be revived from a HS, and no, i'm not saying you said that, but it sure sounds like it.

At the very end of the day. It's taken me the same amount of time to round up 600 kills with the NTW-50 as with the DRX-1, but I don't hear that weapon needs nerfing, cause it doesen't involve the raging need for superiority tanks or GOD MODE!

i agree to the pm .... all those unwanted nerfs because somebody somewere is crying is not justified and you are just breaking the game and driving people away.

it was my favorite gun because it take skill and pratice to hit targets whit that.. you have to check the distance etc   (whitout aim assist). But when i land a hit at long range..i just cant describe the feeling i get... im literally yelling in my room.....

but now i need two clips to blew up a light transport.... at the end of the second clip the vehicule get onfire and people are just simply getting off the vehicule while im reloading.. and life go on and at this point try to get an aircraft ... its not gonna happen often im telling you.   It is possible to get an headshot on pilots but near impossible in multiplayer considering all the freaking unreallistic moves they can do whit that.

So yea now you nerfed this notorious gun 3 times at a point that it is geting completely unrealistic so people start loosing interest not only for that i know but it dosent help for sure.

I am not using anything else and no i am not gonna become a pp-29 user whit tord assist or a shield basher .. if you screw up my fun ill just leave period

the game should be tuned ONCE in studio and after that .. (game) is the (game) if you dont like it get the * out   ....
