Option to switch language is missing on XBox

Which part of the game is the issue happening in? Game Menu
In which game menu were you when the bug occurred? The error: Inside of the game options. The result: Everywhere, also ingame.

Summarize your bug Hey guys, this is the first of your games I've experienced, where I cannot switch the language on XBox.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Searching the options or the game data inside of the XBox OS.
What happens when the bug occurs? No chance to change the text or audio language.
What should be happening instead? Being able to change the text or audio language.

Hey guys,

on PC it can be done in the properties of the Origin app.

On PS5 via the game files of the OS by downloading a language pack.

Last point should be available on XBox as well.

The only chance to do so is changing the OS language completely. A pretty wild workaround.

    Summarize your bug I'm brazilian and my console had brazilian portuguese as its main language when I downloaded the game. I started playing with no problems, but the ingame audio was also in portuguese and I prefer the original audio in english, so I quit the game, changed the console language to english and opened the game again. But every time I try opening it, the game crashes with "something went wrong with this game or app". Doesn't even get to the main menu. If I change the language back to pt-br, the game works fine. The problem is when you try opening the game with a different console language it was installed on.

    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Install the game in a language and then change the console language to another one. In my case, I installed it in pt-br and then changed it to en-us.
    What happens when the bug occurs? It crashes when opening the game, it doesn't even get to the main menu. It shows the "something went wrong with this game or app" error.
    What should be happening instead? The game should open with the default language of the console, or at the very least download the new language files.

    Game crashes when you try opening it on a new language other than the one you installed it on.

    Summarize your bug If you install BF2042 with the console language (in my case I installed it with Portuguese) and then change the console language to English, the BF does not load.
    How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just change the console language different from what was done when installing BF
    What happens when the bug occurs? The game does not play
    What should be happening instead? Change the language of the game regardless of the language it was installed.

    If you install BF2042 with the console language (in my case I installed it with Portuguese) and then change the console language to English, the BF does not load.
