Parachute Won't Open

@carpthgot the same problem on XsX. Parachute won't open from time to time. I'm also completely unable to drop the parachute once opened, tried every possible button (says "B" but it doesn't work) but have no other solution than playing the slow flying target until I touch the ground...

Same with vehicle exits that fails randomly. Seems to happen mostly when you are just in a passenger seat and not a gunner seat.

I assume you're doing the usual trick that's been with this series for generations and just absolutely spamming 'x' or 'a' or 'space' until something happens?

I also suspect that the button help on the right part of the screen is incorrect : as an example for the hovercraft it says that Turbo Mode is a click on left stick, but after a few try I discovered that in fact it was on the right stick...

Yeah I've found that the prompts are incorrect for me too, but I'm sure that's because I've modified my controls somewhat.

I'm on PS5 and rarely have an issue with the parachute opening, but then it seems we've all been having different issues.

Out of interest, which server region are you playing on? It may be a stability issue, but I'm not sure.

I think I've had this happen before too. It only happens close to the ground, but I was pretty sure I was high enough to open it. Pressing the open parachute button doesn't even start the animation if I remember correctly. 

It doesn't happen every time. This is on PC with the default button of space bar.

same here, but im playing at PC.
E for exit doesnt work all the time.
Also open chute uis a issue, it happens that cute doesnt open and fall to death, terminated ☹️

Yup me to came here to report, PC player. 

I have this issue all the time too, on PC. Hitting the appropriate key to open the chute does nothing and I fall to my death.
