[PC] Crashes with VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE

Question

Hi there,I am looking for some help.&nbsp;&nbsp;When playing the game I get a BSOD with error VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE and my computer restarts. Usually I am playing somewhere between 1 and 40 minutes when this happens. Usually it happens at about the 5 to 10 minute mark.Computer specs:Intel i5-6600KGeForce GTX 1080750 Watt Power Supply16 GB RAM2 TB SSDI have tried multiple drivers and the issue persists. I am currently using Nvidia's 497.29 driver.I tried running the game with an overlay to monitor GPU temperature and power draw. There were no spikes in either and the crash happened when both were at normal values.I ran a bunch of GPU stress testers and I am able to run them at far higher temperatures and power draws than Battlefield 2042 puts my GPU through without crashing. Therefore, I don't think it is a overheating issue or a power issue.I tried changing almost every graphics setting with luck, including trying all low settings.This problem is specific to Battlefield 2042. I play a huge number of different games and have never had an issue with any of them.I have attached my DxDiag. Please let me know of any suggestions or things I can try. I bought this game and would love to play it...

System File Checker tool&nbsp;&nbsp;
Then Check for&nbsp;Windows&nbsp;and&nbsp;GPU&nbsp;updates&nbsp;
Clear Origin Cache&nbsp;&nbsp;
Repair&nbsp;
Clean Boot&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Hi Illium,I went through and did all of the things you mentioned in that list and I am still having the same problem. Again, it is only happening in Battlefield 2042. I assume this is not a known issue since I don't see anyone else having this problem.&nbsp;Are there any other things I can try?

Hi&nbsp;@Azlar-DEV&nbsp;thanks for going through those steps. To check have you recently placed any parts or taken the system apart? We might need to make sure everything is seated correctly on the motherboard and getting properly cooled.&nbsp;

I also would recommend making sure BF2042 is using the Nvidia card through the Nvidia Control Panel instead of any integrated graphics.&nbsp;
