    @HedonismBot14 This seems fixed now on driver 528.02. Max settings, max FOV, have not crashed yet in my quick testing on 4080 FE.

i too have a 9900k 32gigs ram and a 2080ti game worked perfectly, then upgraded to a rtx4080 and i get the same error if fov is greater then 70 while on ultra.

    @RockaFellerSame issue with directx hung error, ultrawide with FOV change. Made me sad. Latest nvidia drivers caused this with 527.37, didn't have this issue previously when using low settings, I cranked them all up to ultra now this issue. Must be related to drivers vs settings. When I moved back to 517.48 that caused black screen when loading map instead.

    I've dropped terrain settings, hope it helps.
