Also experiencing this issue with a 4080.
Like others have said, setting terrain quality to high for the most part fixes the issue but not completely. Flying around Breakaway in a wingsuit for example will systematically crash with this error.
Hopefully a game or driver fix comes soon.

Same issue here, with new 4080. I play at 4k. Game crashes after a few seconds in the match. New drivers, new Windows (11), clean install, etceteras. My FOV is 105. I have nother 40 series (4090) and did not have this issue (that is paired with a 13900k) and the 4080 is with a 11700K if that info may helpful. for the 4080 it did worked to lower the terrain quality to medium, but still got crashes from time to time. Also, getting RT on gets me crashes. I hope you guys can provide with a solution ASAP. Thanks in advance.

Same here with my 4080. Terrain to High only fixes the immediate crashing. But eventually the game will crash on extended play sessions.
1440p, max settings (except Terrain to High), FOV Max

as i did read in a old post , fov 70+ could crash game!
but that is not sure , cause system details can tell us more !Cheers
