*update
On a whim, I disabled the onboard ATI graphics on my ASUS B650 Pro mobo in the BIOS - so far - SUCCESS!
Was able to play for about an hour with no crash, but still nervous it will come back.

So 3 days in now - no more crashes!
Able to play for several hours.
Pretty sure I haven't seen this come up as a solution - but maybe it will help someone else.

Soooo game has run FLAWLESS for the past 2 weeks - 0 issues... then I get home this evening and fire up a round - crashes to desktop during map load with the DirectX "out_of_memory" message. Try to start another round, and just crashes to desktop with no message.
A quick look at GeForce Experience shows an updated dropped today - so I install it. Jump in a game of Conquest, runs for about 5 mins - suddenly sound stops working - and then dumps me to desktop with no message. Srsly?!?! This BS all over again??- Rokebo732 years agoSeasoned Ace@TheNeverman Delete the content of Cache folder in Documents / BF2042.
Repair/verify game and test game !
Update us!- 2 years ago@Rokebo73 I've cleared the cache folder and repaired the game. Dumps me to desktop within first 3 minutes of a round.
I'm noticing the sound will either stop working - or stutter right before crashing, could this be an audio related issue?
I installed VisualStudio in an effort to try to open the crashdump files - but it doesn't appear to like .mdmp files...
