[PC] Unable to join games: Unknown Error // 2:81005S:92002S:87003S:62001S:-8A
I attempted to play Battlefield 2042 3 days ago when this issue began. I attempt to join a game, such as Conquest 64. It finds a game and then fades to black like its about to show the map loading screen, but the loading screen never appears appears. I only hear the loading screen music for ~10 seconds before it fades back to the main menu.
Restarting the game, reinstalling the game, restarting my PC, and power cycling my PC all have not worked. I also attempted to play Battlefield 4 on the same EA account, and it said that I "failed to connect" when I try to join a game from the server browser.
When I attempted to join a friend's game, it presented me with the "Unknown Error // 2:81005S:92002S:87003S:62001S:-8A" message in the bottom right of my screen.
All other multiplayer games, including other EA games like Apex Legends, work through Steam and other platforms. I have also played BF 2042 fine for the past month and BF4 fine for years without this issue appearing.
If anyone has any insight into what this issue is or potential fixes, advice would be greatly appreciated
