PC ver. Can"t Zoom With Mouse 2 in Tanks, AA Vehicles Etc...

I have no controllers (joystick, Xbox controller or other game pads) connected to this computer. I also know that the controller inputs can interfere with the key bindings, I use a keyboard & mouse only!. On foot, vehicle, It's all the same to me. I know all about the keyboard bindings columns. I Delete all of the controller bindings because I never use them. I use a Logitech G502 for my mouse. Pretty sure the mouse is not the issue, I can zoom with mouse2 on foot, as gunner, flying a chopper or plane, everything else. Just not Tanks and AA Vehicles as the driver. I still can as a gunner or "nade" launcher or whatever.

I guess I'm just waiting for an update.

I got Zoom control for my Tank and AA Vehicle Etc.. to work properly around the Dec 1st 2021 update. I won't even speculate on how or why my Zoom didn't work before Dec. 1 update, It just does now, and I am happy!  I still cannot turn left or right in "Light" vehicles without it making me "freelook" left & right at the same time though. 

This only happens in "light" vehicles. ( hovercraft, ATV, Jeep/Humvee, Etc...) But this is OK because I would rather be a gunner or commander in those vehicles than only just driving them. I know that driving is fun but scoring "frags" is way more fun! 

Like I said before... I have played ALL BF games since 1942 including all expansions on the PC the whole time! (BF Bad Company came out late on PC & was one of the horrible ones but nothing takes the cake like BF Hardline! What a pile that was...). I still never had control issues with those game like I do with BF 2042 still as of now!

If you're willing to dive around PROFSAVE_profile, you can check your keybinds. Be sure to save your existing file to a safe folder, so you can copy it back in if you make a mistake. Sorry if my instructions are a bit cryptic; I'm writing a more complete guide on the BF Wiki.

Be aware that each full keybind consists of four lines, all four of which (axis/button/negate/type) must be present. An array number after the command name identifies multiple keybinds for each input device (type is 0=mouse, 1=controller, 2=keyboard). Look for each command below, find each type line, and the three lines above will be the rest of the keybind.

Right-click zoom:

GstKeyBinding.[form].ConceptZoom

Right click = axis 27 / button 1 / negate 0 / type 0

Turn with arrow keys:

GstKeyBinding.[form].ConceptMoveLR

Left arrow = axis 0 / button 203 / negate 1 / type 2

Right arrow = axis 0 / button 205 / negate 0 / type 2

• Two keybinds are needed for each form.

Look with mouse movement:

GstKeyBinding.transport.ConceptCameraYaw

GstKeyBinding.vehicle.ConceptRoll

Mouse X axis = axis 0 / button 8 / negate 0 / type 0

I can't find it in my BF 2042 file. Do you have a better explanation as to where to find this file?
