[PC]Launches windowed with no sound unless game files verified each session

As stated in the title every time I launch the game on steam the game launches windowed and without any sound, I can go into the options menu to reapply Fullscreen mode but nothing I do will bring ba...

I'm apparently having the same issue.  The game opened in Windowed mode, and there was no sound.  I put the game back into Borderless, restarted the game, with no change.
