You fix will not fix everyones issues, you're aware of that right?
Greetings! I have an issue with stuttering.
Specs:
8700K stock (3.7Ghz)
16GB DDR4 3200-XMP
3080 RTX (496.76)
Windows 10 20H2.
Playing with everything maxed out in 1440p.
Even with acceptable FPS (75-95), there are terrible stutters every 5-7 second (especially when I scroll the camera rapidly). I thought it will be gone after first 10-20 mins in-game, but this problem persists for a whole game session.
Am I only one? It's something wrong with my PC or game is not properly optimised?
Thank you.
@EA_Atic how should a GPU driver update fix a CPU problem?
This and the BF update which came today did not fix the issue. It's getting even worse.
Is this an issue which is even addressed in the upcoming patches?
I have doubts to believe that no one at DICE has a currenct RYZEN cpu and nobody has seen this issue. I can be seen in every second youtube gameplay video.

The following helped me to improve performance a bit:
Installed graphics driver version 496.13 which is available to download here: https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/drivers/results/181104/ I high recommend you to delete your current graphics driver using DDU before you install 496.13.
Set Shadow Quality to 0 by editing PROFSAVE_profile file that is located in My Documents>Battlefield 2042>Settings folder.
And of course I play on Low settings.
Bump!

Can everyone add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have? Easier to track.
Also have you done any troubleshooting?

- Performance is underwhelming at best
Ryzen 9 3900X + RX 6700XT my hardware is more than capable at 1080P but I still can't get more then 80 FPS and it goes sometimes down to 50ish FPS. My cpu usage and gpu usage are pretty low compared to some other titles.
I want to know what is DICE's plan to improve performance in the next patches?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y0Gv2pShi6w here is my performance ingame - Diijjon5 years agoSeasoned Traveler
I'm entirely certain that performance is an ongoing improvement - as for the frequency of the patch-releases, we lack the data to draw conclusions about the anticipated date for the next patch release. Because the game's been out for a week and the most recent (first) patch released less than a week after pre-launch, I am encouraged that we'll continue to see minor fixes and improvements through the first week of the Global Release.
I noticed that the most recent patch was published at 6.0+GB on PC and this was concerning to me - really hoping that this game doesn't see exorbitant storage requirements.
TL;DR - Game's a week old, patch released ahead of Global Launch (i.e. not enough data to ID next patch-release, encouraged, not certain, to believe in a next-week patch release. I very much doubt you are getting that kind of performance.
