This is a legit playing strategy in the game
and it is not easy to hit a moving target, most of the time the vehicle needs to be standing still (great against distant tank\hover camper), moving slow or the drone comes from the front
Also, Casper has to be hidden in a good spot to do so, also the range is limited
Have you ever tried to use the EMP from the drone on a vehicle? when is moving it is not so easy
Also, the drone can be Spotted by another drone, proximity nade and soflam (I think it the spotter seat from a vehicle can do the same)
The Ranger is also quite aggressive against drowns and you need to back off
If the enemy team is aware of the drones, they will fight it and it is not easy for a kill.
Also Killing a hovercraft from the front won’t work 75% of the time (I tested it today because of another thread here) it will only disable one part.
So, there are many things to counter the drone attack if you aware of it
