Portal Custom Server Crashes 100% With PvP or PvE AI

Summarize your bug Running a custom Gun Game/ Gun Master style game mode in Portal with PvP bots filling the spaces until players joined. The game crashes back to the menu. Sometimes this happens within a minute, other times I have managed to play through 4 maps in the rotation before the crash. The crash does not see to be related to a specific map, or if more than one real player is in the game. I don't think its anything in the config in the rules editor that is causing the crash, but with no persistent logs and no crash report when the game exits, its impossible to tell.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? You can try and play experience code AAFSJG which is the game in which I am experiencing the crashes.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game crashes and returns all users to the main menu with no error shown at all. Before the crash all connected players report the game lags out a little then crashes.
What should be happening instead? It should not be crashing ‌

Note the game mode was a custom game based on Free-for-all, but your form does not have an option for that.

Summarize your bug happens in a custom portal mode, not conquest. No choice for Portal/TDM Portal servers occassionally crash and disconnect all players when executing code created in the logic editor, that is working fine all the time. It always happens, sometimes more soon, sometimes later. portal experience code would be AAC92Q
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Host portal experience AAC92Q, maybe invite some friends, have fun, after a few minutes up to an hour, the will eventually disconnect you all from the game. What happens when the bug occurs? Everyone gets booted to their main menu, no error message or anything like this
What should be happening instead? You shouldn't be thrown from the game server, or at least get an issue report why you disconnected. I spent 2 days debugging this mode, making it even worse until realizing it must've been all the times and the error must be withign

Custom Portal Servers with modes created with the logic editor crash occassionally after some time.

Hi friend, I have the same issue!

I have created a classic gun master game in Portal with my own rules (experience code "aad27v"). Everything works fine. If I host the game there are no errors in the error log in the admin setting ingame. But after a while the server disconnects without any reason. The end game state isn't reached at this time. This happens if I play with bots/KI only and with human player only. I don't see any reason for these disconnects. Sometimes they happen after a minute of playing and sometimes after 10 minutes.

My conclusion is that this could be a portal server hosting issue.

Is here anyone who knows more about this issue and how to avoid it?

I have also experienced this issue on ps5. I have hosted my custom game mode many times, but I can’t find a reliable way to replicate the issue. There doesn’t seem to be a specific rule in the logic editor causing this issue, because there isn’t a specific moment in the game mode that triggers the server crash. It happens somewhat randomly. Is there a way to access error logs of a crashed server?
