Forum Discussion
I’ve repeatedly posted about it and haven’t had ONE response from any of the “EA community managers”.
I see them on here replying to other threads (mostly threads where people are posting about “thank you dice” matters).
Basically, they reply to grass level threads but completely ignore threads and posts that highlight issues that are found with the game.
Extremely unprofessional and unhelpful.
The way they treat the player base is poor.
I then received a DM from one of them giving me a warning about spamming the forum!
Wow. So they send me a warning but completely ignore my posts.
If they had just acknowledged my original post and tried to help, I wouldn’t have to waste my time repeat posting.
This probem still remains.
I am unable to make any changes to my servers - 3 days after the issue was raised.
If this persists, I will quicky run out of patience and lose interest in this game.
I’ve spent months working to make 12+ servers with pretty data heavy code.
And now I can’t work on them any more.
Awesome.
Way to treat the players that keep others playing.
Just tried AGAIN

Rules editor is now incapable of even saving a change that involves just ONE keyboard stroke.

Who monitors this forum? I've never been a big fan of "ask the community first" approach. Is anyone??
- creepnpeep3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Godzill99838 No one of any relevance monitors this forum, that’s the problem.
You have part time moderators that call themselves “EA community managers” (whatever the hell that’s supposed to mean?!) and that’s it.
Not one associate of dice.
Go figure the logic behind that.
The moderators will immediately jump on a thread that says “thank you so much dice for
an amazing update!” (Which isn’t amazing at all - in fact, 90% of updates break something fundamental), yet they completely ignore threads and posts that try to highlight major issues.
Half the time the mods are wrong anyway.
🤦🏽♂️

Seems to be letting me save this morning.
If it's not working for you, refresh the page and try saving after every new block you add for a while.
Breaks if I rename a Rule I made, but am able to change the rule type (ex: OnPlayerDamaged)
Darn it. Breaks with any text, like for a message too.
Godspeed
- creepnpeep3 years agoSeasoned Ace@LordAstino0775 Hi mate,
It’s still screwed as far as I can tell.
No change whatsoever.
It simply won’t save changes.
Still nothing but crickets from you EA “community managers, huh?
Awesome. You’re such assets to the forum 🙄 - LordAstino07753 years agoNot applicable
What browser are you using? I'm using it in Microsoft Edge at the moment. I'm also working on something from scratch, not picking up on a build that I was working on before we were getting these errors.

@LordAstino0775I have been trying repeatedly to recreate the same experience from scratch for almost a week now (on 2 different computers in 5 different browsers) without being able to save any of it - so I believe it's an issue with rules editor itself
or perhaps the portal hates me personally ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - LordAstino07753 years agoNot applicable
Dang. Sorry to hear that. Definitely very frustrating. Worked for me after 4days, but still breaks if I change any text anywhere when on the rule editor page, for messages, renaming rules, variables.. sucks.
I don't have any other suggestions sadly
