A little birdie told me that this issue ("Save was not successful") should now be resolved.
Could that be correct?
This has been an issue since patch 3.1.2 and incredible frustrating!! the fact that no one other than us in the bfportal.gg discord is talking about this shows there isnt many people making experiences with (with text or over a few hundred blocks, and our modes have like 5000 on average)
unable to save ANY of my modes!! , we have all been trying to see what the issue is and so far it seems like its to do woth text and large block count.
SEE TO IT PLEASE! we are the passionate lot us portalists! lol

Others are now having this issue.
The same issue I have been shouting about since the update was released on Tuesday!
Why are all the EA “community managers” silent about this. They’re literally ignoring every mention of this issue.
Do you “EA” guys simply know nothing about portal and the rules editor, and therefore remain quiet because you have no idea what we’re talking about?
Or do you just not see it as a priority?
Regardless of the reason for you not even acknowledging the issue, the very least you should be doing is passing this straight over to the devs at dice.
I don’t expect you EA community managers to solve this issue, but what I do expect is for you to listen to the player base, acknowledge issues we raise and then run along to the dice team to inform them.
to remind you:
There are a good number of people that only play this game because of portal and the rules editor.
If that goes down, you lose those players.
Simple.
You don’t see that as a problem? Well, that attitude might explain the meteoric drop in player numbers.
I will not stop banging on about this until portal and the rules editor is fixed.
Not to mention the thousand other bugs and glitches that have been reported god knows how many times that haven’t been fixed.
Strong words! But it needs to be said.

Theres many people always willing to help each other out and we often find work arounds for bugs that still haven't been fixed
I have word from the team at Ripple Effect and DICE that they are aware of the issue and currently working on a solution to the issue.
These things can take time to resolve. Hopefully it won't be too long but at least we know they are working on it.
same problem, saving doesn't work according to what we do in rules editor. They seem to be aware of the issue but it may be fixed in the next update...?
