Post 4.2.0 Audio stops mid game, and 'Contine' just gives Black screen - help.

Since latest update, windows 11 pro (22H2), RTX 3080 (driver 531.68) :

1) while in match Audio just stops, its OK outside of BF2042 - only way todate to get audio back in BF is to stop* and restart BF2042
2) Post match and after points tally
2i) just after timer to continue - black screen but CPU/GHame still running but only a black screen
2ii) If manually actioning Continue, get same black screen.
Only way out of black screen or *audio failure is to Stop game from within steam and restart -a bit of a p*ss*r.

Anyone else having this / how does one repair BF, or revert to pre 4.2.0 please ?

@Sykix Repair / verify game files first, then test again and update us.
(maybe a clean/refresh BF2042 install could also help)

It was a corrupt EasyAntiCheat file -!!
Sice finding the verify for BF in Steam and letting it replace updat ethe file all has been well for a couplke of hours - phew.
Many thanks for the nudge :-)
