    Hi SANCEZON,

Sorry to hear you're running into this frustrating launch error. I understand how confusing it is to be told you're offline when you know you have a good internet connection.

This error usually doesn't mean your whole computer is offline. Instead, it typically means that the EA App or the game itself is being blocked from accessing the internet for activation.

Let's try a few common PC troubleshooting steps to resolve this:

    1. Run the EA App as an Administrator
This is the most common fix for activation issues.
    • Completely close the EA App.
    • Right-click on the EA App icon on your desktop and select "Run as administrator".
    • Then try launching the game again from within the EA App.
    1. Clear the EA App Cache
If running as an admin doesn't work, a corrupted cache file might be the cause.
    • Click the menu icon (three lines) in the top-left corner of the EA App.
    • Scroll to Help, then click App Recovery.
    • Select Clear Cache.
    1. Flush your DNS
This can clear up any network-related conflicts.
    • Open the Command Prompt as an administrator.
    • Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
    • Restart your computer and try launching the game again.
    1. Check your Firewall/Antivirus
    • Make sure that your Windows Defender Firewall or any third-party antivirus software is not blocking the EA App or Battlefield 2042. You may need to add them as exceptions in your security software's settings.

Please let us know if any of those steps help you get into the game.
