progression not linking between xbox and pc

ive been playing 2042 on xbox for acouple days and i had just bought a pc, i have linked my account on ea but when i booted pc 2042 the is no level progression and id rather not grind all that out ag...

    Hey @AwwwwwYeet,

    Battlefield 2042 does actually include cross-progression which you can read a bit more about below.

    CROSS-PROGRESSION

    In Battlefield 2042, your progress and items you’ve earned in-game follow you wherever you’re playing as long as your accounts are all linked to the same EA Account.

    So, if you’re playing on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 5, you can switch between them and not worry about losing progress or not having access to your favorite gun with the sweet weapon charm you just unlocked.

    If you upgrade your console, your progress and items will follow you to your new console too, as long as you’re still playing on the same account.

    In this case you'd just need to double-check that you're logging in with the same EA Account and that the Xbox account you were playing on earlier was linked correctly. Please reach out to an advisor so they can go over those steps with you and make sure everything was linked correctly if that's still not showing up.

    @EA_Mako So is it EA account or my platform account I bought the game on that save my progress? If I unlink my EA account from my PSN and link another EA account to it, will I still have my progress or is it save on that previous EA account?

      Hi @AlanFxcker428,

      Progress is saved on your EA account. If you unlink your PSN from your EA account however, you won't be able to link a different PSN account to that same EA account.
