If you have installed a Virtual Xbox controller emulator or something along the lines in your desktop PC, you might need to hide that from the game using a utility called HidHide. Make sure that before you start the game, there is only one device (the PS4/PS5 controller) showing in the Windows "Game Controllers" utility.

If that still does not work, you might need to map the inputs from the PS4/PS5 controller device to a virtual vJoy device as I describe in this post: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/HOTAS-controller-not-recognized-by-game/m-p/11013121#M6266

Okay, I will that. As of now, the only controller input it is showing is the controller plugged up. Thank you for your input!
