Summarize your bug PS4 Game Edition: When creating a party with an EA Friend on Xbox One, my friend reports that they could see the yellow text indicating that I am speaking, but no audio comes through and there is an indicator that I am muted. Additionally, there is no mute/unmute option for my profile in the Xbox user's social menu. I am unable to hear their voice, and no text appears in the top-right corner to indicate that they're speaking. My friend confirmed that they had Voice Chat enabled with the channel set to Party and the mode set to Open Mic. Voice chat continued to not work while playing Conquest and Breakthrough.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Open the PS4 Edition on the PS5 2. Navigate to the social tab and create a party 3. Invite an EA Friend playing on Xbox One 4. Once the friend accepts the request, begin speaking 5. Ensure Voice Chat is turned on for both players
What happens when the bug occurs? No audio passes through to the Xbox user, and there is a "muted" indicator on the PS5 player's profile on the Xbox user's screen only. No mic audio from the Xbox user passes through to the PS5 user.
What should be happening instead? Mic audio from both players should be heard by the other.
