I will be in the middle of a match and then my PS5 will just shut off.
This has never happened on any other PS5 game.
I have tried clearing cache and rebuilding database, but the issue continued.
When it shuts off I cant just press the power button to turn it back on, I have to remove and plug in the power cable again. Then it will turn back on.
The console is well ventilated, not close to anything.
And another one after the last. going to have to stop playing would rather keep my ps5 working until this is resolved ☹️
@stannoplan Yeah I also figured it was either the hardware or on their end of the software as all my friends are able to keep playing. Great though, hope that Sony is lenient and a solution can be found for you! Keep me posted pls 🙂
ITS STILL HAPPENING!!!!!
I just had this kind of problem again. I turned on BF2042 and did not get to the main screen and my PS5 shutdown and I needed to take the power cord off and wait for 5min and plug it in and the it started again.
I've had one PS5 changed because BF2042 broke it the same way.
Happens on every ea game. Every other madden game recently . Can play other games for 7 hours no problem. 30 min in New madden 23. Happened again
