I just purchased battlefield 2042 through the EA App, I received my purchase confirmation email and verified that the purchase is complete and I did not receive the game in my library. I restarted the app, uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared the cache. I verified that it was the same account and it is. I don't know what to do anymore.
Same. Today I just purchased BF1 after 8 years of not playing Origin or the new EA games App. I left because it was a POS then and guess what, it still is a POS. Getting my money and leaving again to never return.

If your game library is still not showing a game, please try the following steps to clear this up:
- Open task manager, locate EA Background Service, and end task
- Clear the cache for the EA app
- Check that the EA app is fully updated
- Run the EA app as an administrator
- Check for any background applications blocking the EA App
- Make sure the EA app or other launcher is closed.
- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%
- Navigate to Electronic Arts\EA Services
- In the license folder, you can delete all the files
As these are license files for older titles, you won't lose any progress or data.
Clear the cache for the EA app once again, and check to see if the game is in the app. The App has a few known issues at the moment so it may not populate immediately.
