Yes I've spent hours on chat to support trying to get a fix
@OldMateGreyhoundI'm not sure what has been done. But this game is not overly buggy when it comes to these issues. Very often, if not in the majority of instances of issues on a PC, it has little to do with the app and a lot to do with your PCs configuration and or limitations.
Easy for me to say as a PC tech, but there are very few issues you cannot fix or explain in the PC space, it just takes time. With PCs the burden to resolve issues, is rarely on the developer unless it's a known or possible app issue, as a prior post shown, Nvidia driver update was required, very little to do with EA there.Always rule out the PC as a cause first, this is why you'll always see dxdiag requests thrown around first.

Would it be possible to get a DxDiag?
@CafuddledAhahaaahahahahhaha! Bro, are you ok in your head??? The game is barely playable, it has bad, VERY BAD mouse input since the beta, terrible performance, even on high-end PC-s, and you say peoples' PC-s are wrong? LOL!
@Jozso987I'm a PC tech, the reality is most computer issues are to do with the device/configuration than the apps themselves.
You're talking about loads of bugs, poor performance. The reality is I have no performance issues at 4K, I have very few bugs, nothing even close to game breaking. I can sit there playing for hours on end with nothing happening of note.
So are these bugs for a very vocal minority. Are users using out of date drivers or barely functioning hardware getting all upset at a game that pushes it hard? Keep in mind, not all software loads are equal. You can have a unstable system that will work fine with one app or most apps but will fail abysmally on others. Overclocks, many people will overclock and think because it does not crash in name your game or benchmark it's fine, very untrue.
To give you an idea, the last issue I had was 2042 was resetting the resolution randomly, secondary issue is my keyboard with a display was also crashing. Turned out my GPU was not seated perfectly and a pin was intermittently losing connection. Reseat and now everything worked fine. Think I blamed the game, no I know better, most people that blame XYZ app for anything and everything are typically coming from a place of ignorance.
That said there are no absolutes, but always look objectively rather than being sensationalist.@CafuddledYou are clearly out of touch with what is happening around this game. This is by far the worst optimized game in recent history.
I had it since November release and since day 1 it was plagued with poor FPS and performance. And since the last update, the game has started to crash to desktop (never had this issue before). I cannot play this game for more than 5-10 min before it crashes to desktop. There are hundreds of posts both here and reddit stating that the game is performing worse and that crashes are more frequent. Even console players are reporting the same! Are all consoles also badly configured, by your logic?
This is either a software (game) related issue, or a game & gpu driver compatibility issue for sure. EA/DICE needs to step up and work together with Nvidia & AMD to get this game stable and optimized ASAP.
Last night, the game kept crashing every 5-10 mins (next to the "No Persistence data" error that kept popping up).
Then I launched Cyberpunk 2077, Battlefield 4 and Battlefield V. And they all ran just fine for hours.
But no, my PC is the issue...
- @Cafuddled Then you should sit back into school, if you're a "PC tech", because you're so wrong in everything you say, it's unbelievable. If you don't feel the bad mouse input, or "don't have problems", then you've never ever played a game on PC, period. But I think you don't even play BF2042, you're just trying to troll people here.
