Re: Camera broken Lis rocket vehicles in Solo/Co-op

This is my view while playing as lis and climbing into a vehicle OR firing a g84 missile, nothing was done simultaneously i just want to be able to use the guided missile and vehicles as right now they’re unusable, as soon as you get out again the camera goes back to normal and your player is staring at the vehicle again. It doesn’t happen straight away only after firing one of lis’ rockets. This was mostly occurring against bots in rush on the hourglass map. Thanks.

Cannot upload video evidence but it happens in all vehicles, able to recreate again by loading rush game mode on hourglass map with AI bots, fired one guided missile fine then it breaks. It happens in all the vehicles available on the hourglass map.

Having the same issue as everyone else, I'm on PC platform and figured out what it is. I can confirm as someone said already in this forum that the issue is when the rocket explodes before the camera can switch views, if it explodes while the screen is still black it will screw up the rest of the game for anything that requires a view switch. I play solo/co-op with my father and we both have the same issue and can replicate it frustratingly enough.

Also keep getting this bug whenever i fire her guided rockets in co-op/solo mode 

Impossible to enter a vehicle whenever it happens.

Hi, I’m still having this problem August of 2023 and I’m surprised it hasn’t been patched yet. Do you know if the teams are working on a fix for this or have they given up on this game? 

@EA_Leeuw  how is it possible that this is still happening when fighting bots in coop mode every time i fire a missle with liss my next rocket will have the camera below the ground same for vehciles pls fix it soon game is now unplayable on coop with her

I've seen this issue off and on for a while, and have heard a few friends complain about the same bug as well.
I didn't really notice that it was only in solo mode until I read this thread and realized that was the same case for me as well.

A few observations I've had on it:

Triggering Bug:

• I've had it happen from both flying and ground vehicles, then spawning as lis after.
  But it may have other possible combos to trigger.
• I haven't been able to force it to happen, sometimes i can do a full round without it happening, sometimes it happens early on.

• I just had the bug again, and never spawned as lis.
  On round start, I spawned in with the draugr as angel, was fine.
  after eventually dying with it, I spawned in as angel in the Huron and had the camera bug.

Once Bug has happened:

• its always bugged that round.
  If you leave the server and rejoin, then it works again (until it breaks again).
• It looks like the camera has not been attached to the game object that it should attach to.
• if you hop back into any vehicle or tgm it always occurs, even after respawn.
• If you enter any vehicle/weapon where its a different camera than your player (such as driver) then it happens, but if you switch to a position that uses normal player head camera, then its fine
• The camera stays in the ground at what appears to be players feet location at time of vehicle entry/tgm usage, so if you hop in, move a vehicle then hop out, and back in, the new camera position is moved to a new location on the map, but still just below ground surface.
• It's just the camera that's bugged, if you hop in a vehicle, you can still drive across the map ... if you're good at watching the minimap (cause you're driving blind basically), when you exit vehicle you're at the correct location (where the vehicle was moved to), and you can be killed / do actions/ fire while in the vehiAlso verified that the bug also affects the EOD Bot, as well as Caspers Drone

Summarize your bug The first time you I use a vehicle there is no problem but if I die or crash and choose to pilot the bomber or helicopter for example, the vehicle appears on the map, I can see my ATH and mini map but the camera displays underground and nothing moves. I can control the vehicle but don't see it so it's unplayable. Eventually, the jet or bomber will crash and I can't no longer use any vehicle wihout having the camera frozen under the map. I can only finish the game as a soldier.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? play a solo coop and use several time the bomber
What happens when the bug occurs? the match continues and i can control my vehicle but the camera is not moving so i can't see anything except the under-map
What should be happening instead? I should have a normal vehicle view!

If I quit the game and start another one, I can once again use any vehicle one time and then the issue reappears.
