Thanks for letting us know what your seeing in BF2042, can you try going through the below steps first?
Spoiler- Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- Check any AV or Firewall that might interfere/control network traffic
- Check your Modem/router settings for anything that may block/interfere with network traffic
- Switch from Wi-Fi to ethernet, or if unable move closer to your router.
- Untick the options in LAN Settings (make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server)
- Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)
If you continue running into connection issues would it be possible to get the following?
- Platform:
- Persona:
- Region:
- Type of network being used?
- Are you getting an Error message?
- When do you get the message?
- @EA_Illium I'm having the same issue. I tried every single options available on the internet to solve the problem and it still persists. Changed DNS, run as administrator, did the file check on steam, restarted my router, turn the firewall off, the antivirus is off too. I justa wanna play.

- Are you getting an Error message: Yes. "Unable to Load Persistent Data" Error Code is 15:600P:-7P
- When do you get the message? After selecting "X" to start it goes through a long period of attempting to Connect to Online Services

Hi mine was working fibe last i played maybe 3 days ago and now it gets no further then as the image attached, i have already tried your suggestions above im just a bit confused how nothing can change my end, it stop working and it be my or xboxs fault
Sorry to add the normally moving cross at the bottom is completely frozen on my screen
