OK, so follow up to yesterday. And don't want to get anyone's hopes up, but things seem to have improved on my system. I have now played probably 5ish full 128player conquest games in a row with good CPU usage, as far as I can tell never even peaking to 100% utilization during those rounds, let alone being stuck at it. And I am back to the same graphics settings that I was on prior to this patch. Fingers crossed. HOWEVER, this was after waaaaay more than what I would consider "a few rounds" (easily 10+ rounds, probably more like 15) of incredibly painful, pegged 100% CPU utilization, "slideshow", gameplay. Split across multiple play sessions. I hope it is resolved for me, but would feel better about it if others are having the same improvement and can corroborate. It also would be really nice to get a better understanding of what is going on here from the dev team. I appreciate the fact that "computers are hard", but this has not been great.

Deleting the cache reduces the cpu load here, but it can also make textures look blurry. I dont know how the cache works, but it seens to be the problem, the more you play the bigger it gets making the cpu go crazy, bottlenecking the gpu. For some reason the cache is being processed by the CPU and not GPU, i dont know if its supposed to work like this.
Edit: I have tried disabling the cache with nvidia control panel but it does not work. Game still stutters like hell after 20 min.
Here also better cpu performance after +/- 10 matches like they said. There is good cpu usage and (a lot) less stutter. Cpu usage is overall 70-87% and sometimes over 90%. If the devs can fix the game in a way that the cpu never exceeds 90% usage, than the problem is solved I think (all stutter will be solved this way, that is my opinion, I hope I’m not wrong about this…).
I also hope the devs can keep the gpu usage as it is for now (80-94%) or make it steady @ 90-95% fore some more fps.
I think people need to give the game a chance too adjust the cpu usage, give it some time if you are playing. I can't test 4 or 6 core cpu's, but it works on my system.

Hi,
I have an old X58 W3690@4.2 with 48Gbyte + MSI GTX1080 and I'm able to play @1080 this game with more than 60 fps without big issues since latest 3.1 patch.
Sure I need to:
1) Disable overlay apps
2) Start game as admin and high privileges
3) Limit Thread.MaxProcessorCount 9
4) Set Game mode ON, clear once the cache, disabled control flow ...
.. but anyway thanks EA SW engineer for the effort done recently and allow me to survive a little more!
Hi,
Attached DxDiag, as many others have already mentioned the game is unplayable in its current state. It is disheartening the only "solution" is to suffer through playing some matches which are some of the worst video game experiences I've ever had. Really hope you can get this fixed soon and learn from it in the future.
How has this not been addressed or fixed yet?? I have had no issues 3080ti ryzen 7 5800 and this is so stupid. THis game is unplayable now. I never since launch had any performance issues but now i stutter so hard after a few minutes of play. Has anyone been able to identify this problem? No fixes? This has been a month now. Wtf!?
