I have tried everything. Latest BIOS, Reinstalled Windows, graphics settings, latest GPU drivers. LIST of thing I've tried was ENDLESS

Whether this is AMD or Nvidia GPU set these undervolts / clock settings. 

- MAX MHz Freq 2015

-Voltage 1030 (mV)

This should resolve your BF2042 DirectX errors. Let me know if you are successful!

    I have Radeon 7900 XTX

    Screenshot attached. Whether its a Nvidia GPU or AMD this has fixed the issue for myself and my partner. We are both on different GPU's AMD (me) & (hers) NVidia 4060
