same here! cant play any round. only when start playing and connecting to a server, where the round is nearly finished, i can connect. during the nexht round within 3-5 min the dx error comes up and the game closes and i am b2d.

What happens when the bug occurs? Game freeze, audio hung, back to desktop. After clicking OK at the error message, the game closes itself.
What should be happening instead? the game should run, like every other game does!

DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG ("The GPU will not respond to more commands"). GPU: "AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT", Driver: 22.1.2 (21.40.23.03-220118a-375709E-RadeonSoftware). This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; try installing the latest drivers.

i've read lots of postings and tips for finding any way to play the game like every other game. nothing works so far! i am very disappointed about this way, EA is solving a problem by ignoring it constantly.
Since the game came out for everyone i'm still stucking in the same annoying DX-error. nothing changed since december! before i will think about updates or adding features, maps or modes, i would give my best for every single owner to enjoy a nice gem experience. EA promised this in the ORIGIN marketing platform during the ordering / purchasing process.

Im still waiting for any reaction from the dev team at DICE or the publisher.
Please fix this game for all the people out there, who payed you money for a product, that still doesn't work the way it should do.

I'm now getting the DXGI error!!!!  BF2042 was running perfectly without any issues and then yesterday, entirely out of the blue, I got the error DXGI and now the game crashes with this error during loading.

I've updated drivers, installed older drivers, run Windows Update , run sfc /scannow, underclocked GPU, checked graphics card is seated correctly, deleted and reinstalled BF2042 and reinstalled .Net Framework but nothing works.

OS: Win 11 64-bit

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X

GPU: MSI RX6800XT

Memory: Corsair Vengence LPX 32GB (2x16GB) @ 3600 MHz

Storage: Corsair NVMe , both Origin and Battlefield are installed on this drive

MOBO: ASUS ROG Croshair VIII Hero

Please help!!!!
