I wanted to drop in and see if we're able to get things up and running with the steps provided above! Let's also give a shout-out to @ATF_Snake for the steps that helped as well!

It does seem that a reinstall or repair of Anticheat is helping quite a few players but not all from the threads we have seen.

I try to avoid a full game reinstall. Especially if game time is limited. If this works for you, let us know. If you run into any other steps that help out, post them here for others!

Let's get everyone back in the game and get some excellent game time in!

    This is a black rectangle, that's is all.

    Not sure why an EA representative would come on here looking for a solution when they should be giving the path for a solution. But since we are all in this alone here's mine.

    The EA AntiCheatInstaller reinstall did not work for me. Infact it could not find BF2042 to update. Did reinstall of AntiCheatInstaller still did nothing. I'm in the US so not sure what OverWolf is and do not see it anywhere.

    This is what work for me. End task and or close apps being used for Steel Series products or "mystic light service, Killa or killer lan or wireless app, MSI AI app. 

    And still not sure but most of the time this works. Im turning more towards the "mysticlightservice" task running in the task manager. 

    Just want to close with the fact that this is suuuper sad and couldn't have happened at the worst time with the acknowledgement of BF2042 no longer have content and or map updates. 

    I for one would like to see endless or longer skirmishes. How about 128 vs 128?
