I have this issue also.I only just purchased the game before the last updates and i played a couple of times and it was fine no problems.. Then the update , now it crashes as soon as you try enter the game.. or are in the game.. it freezes , locks up and requires task manager to exit the lock up..
Trying to restart and enter produces the same result.. unplayable.. This is terribly sad as I just purchased the game..
I am a longtime Battlefield fan dating back to Wolfenstein ET days.. I am hugely disappointed currently and really dont want to be editing the registry or trying hotfixes , rolling back drivers.. etc.. It is clearly a software issue.. Maybe the game producer should roll back the updates to a stable condition point then instruct customers to reinstall the game clean..
It has been a considerable amount of time since the game has been unusable and I am starting to think, "Abandonware" Maybe EAGames and Dice have made enough money
and the pc gamer share of sales really is so insignificant that repairing the fault is not a priority .. But rather Battlefield 6 or Battlefield 2050 is being worked on and more important..
They have our money and thats where their responsibility ends..
Man up.. Make the tough call.. Roll back the updates .. And instruct users to uninstall/ Reinstall the game..
