@EA_Atic  I am yes, I get into a lobby and see my team of 4 then it stalls, after a while takes me back to the main menu, thanks for replying.

I was experiencing this in the US. Once I turned on cross play I was able to get it to load in.  Not sure if it will help but it's worth a try.  

The title speaks for itself. Ever since launch and now right after the latest update I still can't get into a single game of HZ.
Isn't there any servers in South East Asia? Or this mode is just broken for PS4?

I'm trying to play Hazard Zone on PS4 in Australia and I'm unable to find a match. I even have a full squad and it refuses to load. It's just endless 'waiting for players". I believe to solve this problem that players need to be able to choose their region in the world or simply let PS4 and PS5 play together. I really hope EA fix this problem. Thanks.

I have not been able to play a single game of Hazard Zone since the update. Cross-Play on/off, it doesn't matter. I just sit on the "searching" or "waiting for players to join" screen until it gets timed out and sends me back to the menu EVERY TIME. How is it even possible to make a bad game even worse every time there's an update? Congratulations EA, you've managed to do something that 2k hasn't even accomplished, and they were the world's worst up until you decided to release this flaming pile of hot garbage. 

Me too, been trying since the release date on 24th Nov? Only managed to play 2 games on one Saturday afternoon. Literally spending 8 hours waiting all day and all i got is two games.

After that it's been two weeks now and I try for games daily and not managed to find one.

There is really something wrong with the match making here as I doubt there isn't 24 players across the whole APAC combining both PS4 and XBOX 

PC player. NA West, cross play enabled. For the last 2 weeks I cannot enter a Hazard Zone game between the hours of 2am to 11am. I keep getting auto-kicked back to the menu after 5 minutes of "Waiting for players to join."

Today it's the same thing. Been trying to get into a game since 9am. I got into one game. One. It is now 11:30am. 

First, I really wanna make a shout-out to DICE/EA for showing some love to the Middle East, and providing this region with local servers. The ping is great, and the servers are running smoothly; I never imagined I would be playing a MP game with a 2-digit ping, not to mention a single-digit ping! 

Back to topic, my problem is with Hazard Zone, I have been trying to get into a game for the last 2 weeks with no success, I've searched for over 4 hours in total on some days with no luck, whatsoever. Joining Conquest/Breakthrough/Rush/Featured portal servers isn't an issue, we get hooked to games instantly. I believe this is most likely related to the low number of players searching for a HZ game in this region, and the way matchmaking works.

Low pop issue:

This can be easily addressed imho with weekly challenges directed towards HZ, encouraging more players to jump in. As much as I hate locking rewards behind a specific game mode, making the reward available -a week or two- later through other game modes would be the best thing to do and should please most players, if not all. Until then, I fear that the low pop issue is only going to get worse as more players will stop searching eventually as they know they won't be able to find a match.

Matchmaking issue:
I noticed that if me and my friend search separately we get different maps sometimes, meaning that we are in two different lobbies, which does not help considering the low pop for HZ in this region. Matchmaking should prolly be reworked to have all the players searching join the same lobby. One way to sort this out is to have just one lobby/map available at a time, and a new one should only become available once the first one gets filled. Also, adding a Hazard Zone Small mode with 6 squads might help save HZ in this region.

p.s. I was able to play a few games after my friends routed their connection through EU via VPN, the ping was horrible but we were able to start a game.

My friends and I could never play the Hazard Zone again.

It keeps loading and waiting for players, after a long time, it goes to the game's start menu.

The game mode is dead, no-one plays it man. Also considering how much "effort" they put into it, you are not really missing much, so don't be sad, this is how things work out sometimes.

I believe this is a playercount issue, not a server one. Takes around 5-10 minutes for me to find one on PS4 and PS5

I actually really enjoy HZ and did it alot for few weeks, but its yeah seems too hard to get a game now (time of day and that matters too though)

That said the matchmaking for it never seemed great, and often would be a different game/map if reque after awhile. Perhaps there is something that can be fixed to improve, like a 5 minute hardcap on game start time no matter how many ready (idk just thowing out there).

Server Browser would have fixed that partially!

Is there any possibility that seeing how many players are queuing for the game mode or just let the players enter the game mode without full 24-players?
Why is there so lacking of information for the player to spot out the reason why we are not able to play the game.

I have been trying to play HazardZone and it just shows "waiting for players" and exits back to the Game Mode Selection. I spent long time like this multiple times and hence finished 2 hours of gameplay and steam wont give me a refund. Will HazardZone be fixed ?

according to the article, I have tried the connective guide

1.Use a wired connection.

Yes, I did try to use wired connection but it still the same situation just like I use wireless. it stuck in the [waiting for other players] then go back to the menu.

2.Move your router.

Yes, it already the closest distance I could even tried to set up.

3.Wireless? Change your Wi-Fi channel.

I am using 5Ghz network and the channel is 149 and there are only 3 other household using this channel surrounding my search area.

I did also tried 2.4GHz network and there are still go back to the menu.

4.Other things to check 

I pretty sure my connection is very stable since I could play All-out Warfare and Portal normally with my 3 other friends either Coop AI or VS players.
And I assume that wasn't the connection problem at the players court, because my 3 other friends also couldn't play Hazard Zone at all, it just keep [waiting for other players] then go back to the menu even we are the 4-man squad.

I saw some other players also appear this issue even in different platform or in PS5
