@WarFish888 PC specs looks good, ram is dual-channel right? 2 sticks? Game is installed in SSD? And what about other games, do they work properly?
I just noticed, and most dudes in-game chat are saying the same, sometimes everything freezes for like 000,01 millisecond, it seems #4.0 have made this freezing stuff for some.. but it doesn't sound like this is the same issue your having.
Meanwhile try this:
Disk Cleanup, and clean cache files on C: drive.
Reinstall the game, +Document folder.
Reinstall GPU drivers with DDU. https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
- Try older drivers. https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/drivers/results/181104/
About the newest update, i was getting around 90~115fps on #3.3, and now on #4.0 update around 100~135fps.
I didn't reinstall the game, just deleted; Documents\Battlefield 2042, folder.
MODE: Conquest 128 multiplayer.
SETTINGS: All low, 1080p resolution.
SPECS: i5-11400F / RTX 2060 6GB / 16GB RAM 3200 MHz / 970 EVO NVME.
DRIVERS: GeForce 496.13

@Dedzigs Yes, my ram is dual channel, also I have had to disable XMP profiles to prevent blue screen errors whenever I play bf2042. I have tried installing the game on 3 different drives, but have it on my C drive ssd now because that is most stable. I have never experienced any simular issue in any other games. I have also tried rolling back my drivers to no effect, this has been happening for 6 months with many drivers that have come out in this time. I have deleted my battlefield 2042 documents folder and reinstalled the game at least 5 times now. I will try the disk clean up and cache file clean up and let you know.

When the input freezing does you hardware spike to 100% in Taskmanger?
/Atic- @EA_Atic No, just tested, the hardware usage in task manager is the same when the bug happens as in normal game-play, around 60-80%. I also tried using a different mouse with no software and the bug still happened.
