Re: New anticheat broke all 3rd party app support?

HI the two programs mentioned that Season 6 are blocking are:

Guru3D RTSS Rivatuner Statistics Server and MSI Afterburner.

They are used for seeing system information while in game, Graphics card tweaking and also this has a CPU based frame limiter which, is the most accurate and affective limiter software available today.

Can both programs be white listed please? For more info on the software see the links at 3DGuru below a very trusted website used by Gamers worldwide.

Do you notice it in game? for me it's not 100% smooth anymore after S6 update, this new anti-cheat definitely dig deeper into the system, broke Msi afterburner overlay and causing these annoying stuttering.

Yes I notice it in game and it is definitely EA Anticheat. I already mentioned that I had the same problem in Fifa23, which also uses EA Anticheat. It goes well for 10min, after that the sound starts to stutter extremely or disappears completely. The only solution at the moment for me is to use the onboard sound for BF. (For me, however, the problem only occurs with the Focusrite interface.)

WHY EA? Why do you hate us? Every season pass is the same. Problems, bugs, weapon nerfs or modifications that just alter the way we like to play and overshadows any improvement. We appreciate the anti cheat efforts but that should be accompanied by more transparency ¿what do you do with our cheating reports? no one knows exactly what is happening with those players who use CRONUS ZEN in consoles. If you are not going to give clear answers or solid patches at least don't take things from us that we love to play with, like the Afterburner OSD.

@JD_W0LF So when i uninstall my driver for the focusrite, i can still use the focusrite without the problems. I know it is not a good solution, but something.

That's super weird... I assume you wouldn't be able to use it AS your soundcard, selected as your Windows device though? If it has no drivers. Or maybe Windows installs it's own driver that somehow isn't affected by EA... I don't know if I even wanna try that. Dice/EA just really need to get on this. I can't believe nobody has really acknowledged this pretty big problem yet, or said they're at least looking into it.

  • The interface can work without the driver but not correctly and you will not be able to manage the input/output/rooting and record with low latency.

It will be assign to the windows driver but you will not be able to manage the buffer size. It's like using it with asio4all in worse.

Anyway you need the driver to not lose what it is made for.

There is topic about this on the Focusrite forum.

Try to put the higher buffer size like 1024 to avoid sound problem if you use any interface (its not only focusrite) with the current s6 update.
