I get blackscreens at the end of a round and after the last update also at the beginning of a round.

i have been getting more blank screens lately after rounds... wasn't this bad for me before... today i had to reboot two times in about 4 games... its frustrating when no EA support team updates that they are actually looking into it... am not asking for a miracle fix just at least let us know that you are attempting fixes for this issue... it is not unplayable (but some might disagree especially if they are rebooting almost every other round) but having to restart game almost every other round is very very frustrating... and guys don't stop the game from task manager cause i don't think thats a good way to stop apps... you can stop it from steam app if you bought it from steam...

Yesterday, Oct. 31st, Patch 6.1 was released for Battlefield 2042 on all platforms. If you're still experiencing the "Stuck on Black Screen during Pre or End of Round > Requires Game Restart" issue after yesterday's Patch 6.1 release, please mention the following in this format:

I am playing on a PC (the dxdiag is in the attachment)

I am experiencing the issue mostly after a round ends and the game want to load into the main lobby where it

gets stuck in a black screen. The same happens when leaving a match.

3. If you're playing on PC, have you tried changing the resolution and screen mode (fullscreen, windowed, etc.) already to see if that does something?

Regarding the resolutions, I have tried all available options and unfortunately, none of them have worked, let alone fixed or changed the problem in any way.

Through extensive research, I suspect that the black screen is caused by faulty loading of textures after a round. Furthermore, I have noticed that the black screen seems to occur mostly for people who own an AMD graphics card. I hope that you can fix this serious problem as soon as possible, as it is currently robbing thousands of players of their enjoyment.

I have tried all the available options regarding these resolutions, but unfortunately, none of them have worked, let alone solved or changed the problem in any way.

At end of game round i do not click continue button , i want to see everything.

   both but mostly (98%) at end of round after the screen with XP point awarded.
   never got that bug before 6.0.0, still exist in 6.1.0

   Change everything but it doesn't change the issue. Sometimes after a change it seems to be better but it's only because you're lucky for few rounds.
   my common res is 3840*1600 144Hz

There's still a black screen. Did you try to fix the black screen during this patch? What have you been doing for three weeks? Why did you collect our DxDiag?

The problem still persists. Nothing has changed.

• I am playing on PC.
• The issue occurs after the end of the match, but rarely it also happens before the match. Moreover, when the texture streaming breaks, which can happen in the middle of the match, attempting to leave the game and go back to the main menu results in a black screen.
• I tried changing the window mode, but it didn't help.

Playing on PC. Black screen after most rounds. Invisible players and invisible geists at start of round or mid-round. Attacks not doing damage or doing very little damage with any firearm to human players in random cases. 

I have not changed display mode from fullscreen to another kind.

@PistolsFoPandas i can close it from steam.. paid for the game on steam.. when it launches EA must be logged in too... but i usually just click the shortcut to the game on my desktop and both steam and EA app automatically launch and the game starts...

   I bought it on steam (on windows 11)... i also need to be logged into ea account for the game to launch...

   I experience it after rounds, after the points are shown and clicking on 'continue' twice (there are 2 points screens)... thats when sometimes the blank screen happens right before moving on to the next round screen... this happens sometimes after the very 1st round but usually after 2-4 rounds... on the rare occasions (i think 2 or 3 times) it has happened to me even before the start of a round)... also have played 10 rounds with no issue previously too... and no i did not do anything different... could have been due to off peak hours i guess but i never kept a record so can't confirm that... i do play at both off peak (singapore afternoon timings) and peak (usually singapore night time into the early hours of the morning)

Tried optimizing for windows games as suggested by a user here (under graphics settings to reduce latency and use advanced features in compatible games) but didn't work.

Also have been wondering is it normal to have two installed apps for the same game? one is showing for dice and the other for EA (as shown in attached)... the only one that has the uninstall option is the Dice one...

This is exactly what happens before the black screen. How can resolution or window mode be related to the game's inability to load its content?

I am also getting the Inability to control mouse movement every minute or so for ~ 2-3 seconds.  These two bugs are making the game unplayable.

   I play 1440p, tried full, windowed and borderless, no difference.
   Tried lowest, Auto and custom settings and no change.
   Clearing cache allows a couple games to load after round but black screen persists soon after.
