Re: Settings reset + have to redo tutorial every time I load the game

Yup you are correct i found it myself.

 
1.- Go to Windows Security (Security at a Glance)
2.- Virus n' threat proteccion
3.- Virus n' threat protection settings
4.- Scroll down to an option like "Folder control" (Sorry I have my Windows in Spanish) and give permitions to BF2042.exe and BF2042_launcher (the panda icon).
 
This fix the setting reset for me hope it works to all of you!

    For step 4 it'd be "Controlled folder access" in English, for future reference 🙂

    But to both you and qr0nis, absolute legends, thanks for the help this fixed the problem!

    @jackd444 Did you have to restart your computer for it to work or just log into the game and no more setup? Because I just did this and I still have to redo my settings, but I have not tried to see if it would do it for a second time after this change.

    I had to redo the settings and tutorial one final time after changing my windows defender settings, but everything saved from then on!

    Yep day this crap keeps happening to me.  Each day is a bug hunt to see what happened.  This is a poor way to start a game. At least let us able to skip the tutorial crap.
