Here are some steps you can try if your game does not launch: 

1. Clear EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)  
2. Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from  EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)  Steam - Verify in your library  
3. Run the System File Checker tool, then Check for Windows and GPU updates   
4. Install/Repair your VC++ files for the game (Microsoft VC++ Link)  
5. Download and update DirectX  Microsoft website 
6. Put your device in a Clean boot, then launch the game
