FYI i figured out how to fix it, verify your game files. i had 22 files fail to validate and redownload and now i dont have the issue.

Well I gave it a shot. I only had 1 file that failed to validate. It might be because I had reinstalled. But I'll play some more and hope it doesn't occur again. Thanks for the tip.
Unfortunately I don't have steam. The Origin app doesn't give a verify option.

Validating the files is what worked for me. @Mylitlpwny Thanks so much for the tip. I've been playing for the past 2 days without that issue popping up anymore.
So I'm not day 4 of trying to play this broken game, I've been playing since it was released last year. All of a sudden I cant play the game because of Easy Anti Cheat *. I even went to the extent of Reformatting my whole computer to see if that would fix it. Seemed to start happening right after this new patch. I'm a little irritated at this point. Cant even play a game that i paid for to play. I have tried everyone recommendations
The best part is you cant even put int a ticket with EAC because their ticket form is broken. It will not submit anything. So not only can i not get it to work, i cant even submit a ticket to them to look to see whats causing it
how to verify your game files

Steps for Origin
Right-click Origin shortcut, select RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR and choose My Game Library from the left panel.
Tap Battlefield 2042 from the drop-down menu.
Click on the gear icon next to the Play button and click Repair.
Restart the game after finishing the integrity check process.
Steps for Steam
Right-click Steam shortcut select RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR and then find and click on the Library.
Right-click Battlefield 2042 from the list and choose Properties.
Click on Local Files in the left panel and choose Verify integrity of game files.
Restart the game after the process ends to see if it still crashes. - @Mylitlpwny If I go to validate through steam it still happens. And I can validate again and again. It's not a one time thing. Can you help me because I'm gonna break something soon because of the * state this game is in since EA took over the franchise
Its the game and easy anticheat. Been playing since release without issues. Disabling ghub, steelseries software, icue rgb, verifying/repairing game files, reinstalling game. The problem always resurfaces, sometimes I get a few rounds in but always comes back.

Shutdown / close Steam !!!
PS C:\\ is typically install location, jus as example !

Right-click Battlefield 2042 from the list and choose Properties.
Click on Local Files in the left panel and choose Verify integrity of game files.
Press the Windows key + 'E' to open File Explorer.
Press Alt key, select Tools > Folder Options > View, then check Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
Navigate to the following location C:\\Program Files(x86)\EasyAntiCheat\ and delete the files:
Delete this file C:\\Program Files(x86)\EasyAntiCheat\EasyAntiCheat.sys
Delete this file C:\\Program Files(x86)\EasyAntiCheat\EasyAntiCheat.exe
navigate to C:\\Program Files(x86)\Steamapps\common\BF2042
Right click the BF2042_launcher.exe (<-- this is the EAC launcher), select properties,
select compatibility tab and select RUN THIS PROGRAM AS ADMINISTRATOR , click APPLY , click OK.
Right click the BF2042.exe (<-- this is the game launcher) , select properties,
select compatibility tab and select RUN THIS PROGRAM AS ADMINISTRATOR , click APPLY , click OK.
Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\Battlefield 2042\EasyAntiCheat and right click the EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe and
select to RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR. In the EasyAntiCheat app select Repair !
Navigate to C:\\Program Files(x86)\EasyAntiCheat\EasyAntiCheat.exe select properties,
select compatibility tab and select RUN THIS PROGRAM AS ADMINISTRATOR , click APPLY , click OK.
Close File Explorer
TEST GAME !!
It's possible you need to white list EasyAntiCheat / Virus Scanner / Firewall ect ect,

i know how to solve this problem
i had the same: playing about 5 minutes then got kicked
my friend told me about xmp problem in memory ram, i was using xmp profile, now i got the numbers myself and i dont have this problem anymore, try this guys: disable xmp profile and put yourself the latency on BIOS ,should work.
