Reinstalling Origin/BF 2042

I tried to update it first since I havent played it in a few months and that wouldnt even update properly. Same old issues having to click update and nothing happen then trying repair only for it to scan then start downloading the whole game again but not download anything.

So I uninstalled BF 2042 and then Origin (if only the game could install that easy)

Rebooted and reinstalled Origin as admin and went to installed BF 2042 which has to redownload it of course but like when I first was installing the game it would download fine till some % then DL rate would start dropping then to 0 and nothing after that.  6 times so far having to hit pause then the download icon.  65-85MB/sec when it doesnt start * out.  8 times pausing and redownloading now and it finally finished after an hr of this bs.

Also using the Epic games launcher since I got the game from them and have to use their launcher as I cant even launch it directly from Origin.

@baseman93, that is indeed correct. When you purchase an EA game via a 3rd party retailer (like Epic for example), you will still need to have (in this case) Epic Games Launcher and Origin installed and the game can (in that case) only be launched via Epic because that is the platform where you've bought the game from.
