@Rokebo73 The issue was resolved in the latest update of the game. Despite having excellent internet and trying various troubleshooting steps like changing the DNS, repairing the game, and everything else that might come to mind, the problem persisted until I waited for the latest update. Now, everything is working fine.
However, there is a completely different issue now: when I launch the game, it does not open correctly. Instead, it shows the game's initial screen (the start screen) in fullscreen mode. I am forced to exit using ALT + F4 and then reopen the game for it to launch properly.
I am not sure if EA is aware of this issue or not
Thank you for your help and response to my issue.

@salahamrabd Move the folder settings (or content only),
Documents\Battlefield 2042\settings
to a other location, so game will start with basic settings (standard).
Check if this fix youre issue, if it not solve the issue , ya can move old content to original location again.
Keep us up to date please !
ps make sure nvidia/amd control panel settings are set as it should be, its possbible they change direct/indirect behaviour of the game!!
