Resolved - PC Update 4.0.1 - Game won't go past EAC screen and EA app returns

I still have another issue, but that is another level of troubleshooting, that is not EA/Bfield Related

NOPE, still not fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Changed graphics drivers, repaired the game, reinstalled and repaired the game, repaired ea app... uninstall and reinstalled the app..

ALL NO GO.

And it all happened after the 4.0 or 4.01 update!

@bigXoptimake sure ya delete all hidden folders / files also
Use revo uninstaller to uninstall bf2042 (and game platform), make sure ya checked ADVANCED in revo to scan and check for any registry keys / folders.

Then manualy delete all folders / files related to bf2042 / EAC.

I delete everything from EAC / BF2042 , Origin and EA app at locations below:
C:\Users\USERNAME/AppData (folders local and roaming)
C:\ProgramData
C:\Program Files (x86)
C:\Program Files

ps ya need to download / reinstall gameplatform and game again if ya do the same as i did !

I've been having a very similar issue for months now - I don't think it's related to the 4.0.1 patch - something has changed so more people are exposed to this. I've ran exhaustive tests and it appears to be something in the runtime crashing. Are there any debug tools I can run locally? This is on a 12900k & a 4090, on windows11 22H2
