RTX5080 Game wont launch, almost does and closes

Question

When i launch BF2042 from steam, it tries to launch and closes to desktop

Steps

Preparing game is good

Next Bf logo screen isgood

black screen/dos screen right after that....

i almost get an image and then

a ORANGE EA logo appears very quickly on bottom task bar and goes away and that it.

i reinstalled last night and got it working played fine and today its broke again.

Only change on my end in the past few days is i got a Nvidia FE 5080, all drivers up to date

i got it working by doing 2 things not sure what resolved it.Disabled Smooth Motion.&nbsp; NvidiaVerified integrity of game files. Steam&nbsp;

same here since release of the game but with ea app and AMD GFX i cant fix it idk why
