Experiencing the same on PS5 here. It’s not 100%, and I manage to change that by switching to an alternative scope followed by switching back to the desired scope. Very frustrating and time consuming, since your standing still using the plus-menu. Got killed a lot of times due to having to switch scopes to get magnification as designed unfortunately.
