I really hope you are tracking player counts EA because this is going to be the sharpest drop ever in an online game. And you did it on purpose. Wow! How stupid are you people?

dit is toch niet de manier om de meest trouwe battlefield spelers te laten stoppen met deze game .EA please fix this .iedereen gaat er straks mee stoppen.
EA neem je verantwoordelijkheid ,dit kan echt niet !!!!

Hi landcruiser0017,
While I don't particularly like saying this, since this is the English-speaking forum, you will need to use English when posting here, I'm afraid. However, if you'd prefer to post in Dutch, there is a dedicated forum you can use, and I've included a link below:

Hi there,
If you are unable to enable Secure Boot, whether because your CPU or motherboard does not support it, we have a dedicated thread on this topic: Can’t Enable Secure Boot Due to Older CPU / Can’t Disable CSM Support – Help? That said, most modern systems do support Secure Boot.
If you would like to join the general discussion, find steps to check whether Secure Boot can be enabled, troubleshoot issues, or explore more information, please visit: [INFO] BF2042 Patch 8.8 (May 27) – Secure Boot Requirement for Supported Systems.
Thank you.

Take a look at your player base. They are constantly running into issues being FORCED to run "Safe Boot" for a video game just so your sub-par Anti-Cheat minimalizes cheaters in BF2042.
Your "Global Anti-Cheat" for BF1 is a joke, people still cheat. Your Anti-Cheat for SWBF2 still has cheaters. Battlefield V is the WORST of the game in the entire franchise for notorious cheating. You REALLY think by "forcing" you player base to run "Safe Boot" is going to be the perma solution for players to play BF0242? Wrong. They're leaving to play other games that don't require to reconfigure their BiOS to run Safe Mode to play a single game.
People are frustrated you threw out this "update" to push players into running "Safe Mode" because your shareholders are realizing "Hey, why isn't anyone playing BF2042?"....Cheaters right? Is that the reason? If so, you've just made it WORSE for your shareholders keeping the money flowing into their pockets because of this unsurprisingly Public Relations (PR) disaster explaining to the masses that you're finally cracking down on the cheating aspect in the Battlefield franchise. Sorry, but If Battlefield 6 is requiring players to use "Safe Mode" to play Bf6, you're going to end upsetting your shareholders once again because players are not comfortable configuring BiOS or mess with settings in BiOS with W10/W11 that can "potentially" cause more harm to their PC to include incompatibility with "work arounds" to band aid the solution.
There needs to be a better solution for the majority of the player base for those who have legacy PC software/hardware to be able to play BF2042. You can't just say "Oh well, not our fault you don't have an up to date PC", well, that's BS, bc ppl can still play BF4, SWBF2 and BF1 WITHOUT the need to put their PC into "Safe Mode". This is just a LAZY attempt at EA/DICE to keep applying band aid solutions on a gushing wound.
Here, food for thought, even though this is on a Thursday mid-morning on the US East, take a look at your Steam Charts for BF1 vs BF2042. Amazing right? Wonder why there's MORE players playing BF1 over BF2042. Could it be the latest patch to include forcing player to run BF2042 in Safe Mode just to play? Geee, I don't know. Just taking a guess here.

BF2042: https://steamcharts.com/app/1517290
You're creating more PROBLEMS than SOLUTIONS with this Safe Mode work around. This is NOT the way forward. You're LOSING players to this. DO BETTER!

This is asinine. EA_Leeuw you need to report to whomever and get this rectified. People are literally bricking their PC's due to enabling secure boot and having OS and drivers not recognized. There is absolutely no reason that we should have to change our BIOS in order to play a game. This is insanity. Do better, put money into a better anti-cheat software if you can. But EA as a whole has effectively destroyed PC gaming on battlefield due to negligence. Look below for your OWN message in regard to secure boot (Which you wont take responsibility for if changed incorrectly and require us to take our PC to a professional, pay them, just to play). Requiring this just to play games is next level slap in the face. Your player count will absolutely drop, and sales will absolutely drop. Thanks for spitting in the face of one of your biggest player base. Absolutely atrocious.
THIS IS DIRECTLY FROM EA BTW:
"Heads-up: If you’re not used to navigating through your BIOS, you should contact a professional. Incorrectly configuring BIOS settings can cause issues with your computer, including failure to start up.
The setting to modify in a PC’s BIOS depends on the brand of your computer or its motherboard’s manufacturer. We highly recommend that you read your computer or motherboard manufacturer's support resources before updating any BIOS settings. EA doesn’t take responsibility if you change your BIOS settings."
